Teach Emotion

     Teach Emotion is an organization dedicated to helping schools and educational institutions in the San Francisco Bay Area develop and implement curriculum that integrates emotional intelligence (EQ) competency with academic excellence.  Dr. Barbara Fatum, its founder, is a School Psychologist with 25 years experience in public, private, and international schools.  Dr. Fatum's research concerns the impact emotional intelligence competency has on academic achievement, social success, and success in life. Dr. Fatum is a level II certified trainer with the Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Organization (www.6Seconds.org) and the Director of Assessment/School Psychologist for the Synapse School in Menlo Park (www.synapseschool.org).  Dr. Fatum also currently serves as the Clinical Coordinator of the Gifted Support Center in Menlo Park.
